3 Foods I Stopped Eating

1. Chicken meat

It is not that it is high in cholesterol it is because of what they eat. I have worked in a poultry farm and I saw what they put on the food of the chicks. Mostly chemical.
I will not elaborate more but my general conclusion is that most of the chicken meat we buy on the market are actually chicks meat not chicken meat.

2. Canned goods

It is very obvious. Preservatives.
Some common preservatives like Sodium nitrite, Benzoic acid, Sodium benzoate, etc... have a negative side effects that leads to cancer. Another reason why I stopped eating canned goods is that according to nutritionists, our body would have difficulty in digesting and breaking down preserved food especially those well-preserved foods.

3. Instant noodles

Wax! Wax! Wax!
Instant noodles have wax coating so that noodles won't stick together if it is cooked.
Our body needs at least 2-3 days to clear this wax.
Nowadays, noodles is oftentimes called "cancer noodles"


EAT MODERATELY.

The Beauty and Wonder of Hibiscus

I never realize that there are different colors of Hibiscus.
The only color I know is the red one.
Last January 13, 2012, I went on a beach resort in Western Pangasinan, Philippines.

Upon reaching the shore, I saw a garden full of Hibiscus flowers in different colors.

Now here is the wonder.

According to research, Hibiscus flower has health benefit.
The extract from the Hibiscus flower may have the same health benefit like red wine.
Hibiscus flower contains anti-oxidants that helps control cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.
